Over the past 20 years, state support for education has fallen significantly. While academics are truly the cornerstone of our children’s lives, athletics and other extra-curricular programs make for more social, well-rounded adults. It has become increasingly difficult for families in complicated situations to support the desires of their children to participate in organized school activities. Booster Clubs were formed in order to off-set such problems by tapping into the community for donations of time, resources and money. We are proud of our school, and especially our community, and wanted to take this opportunity to reach out to you…the history and pride of Norman High.

Our goal for the 2009-2010 school year is $100,000. We have retained lots of great talent in our incoming senior, junior and sophomore classes, and have a huge influx of freshman talent that are excited to wear orange and black.

There are several ways that you can enhance our program. If you have any time to give volunteering for an event, please let us know when you are available. If you have resources that we could utilize for the football program, contact us with the specifics. Finally, there are three different ways you can assist us monetarily. Scholarships to assist football players are being formed for the entire team, present and future. Personal donations are accepted in any dollar amount, all are appreciated. Corporate donations are in different increments, each level receives certain recognition as noted on the attached corporate donor form.

We’re starting a New Tradition at Norman High, but we’re keeping it Old School.
