Putnam City scored 2 touchdowns towards the end of the first half that provided all of the points that the Pirates would need to outlast the Tigers on Thursday night. The Tigers scored their only touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 2-yard run by Donovan Roberts. The Tiger defense had a good night holding the Pirates scoreless in all but the second quarter and stopped several 4th down attempts by the Pirates. The Tiger offense continues to struggle and needs to find a way to get more points on the board and limit turnovers. The Tigers travel to Westmoore next Thursday night for another district showdown.
